Throughout life, we experience grief in different ways and for various reasons. Each of us respond in our own ways. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance are recognized as the standard stages of grief. The Minnetonka Marching Blue’s show, “…And We Grew” explores each stage through the musical works of Jake Esterberg (Denial), Justin Bieber's "Ghost" (Anger), Taylor Swift and Bon Iver's "Evermore" (Depression and Bargaining), and The Theme from Civilization IV, "Dream of Flight" (Acceptance and Hope).
