2023 Day of Percussion Is Ready to Roll!
MPA is excited to bring the 2023 Minnesota Percussion Association Day of Percussion to Rosemount High School on Saturday, January 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.!
And we're happy to work with the Percussive Arts Society Minnesota Chapter to this year hold a concert for local student concert percussion ensembles at 6 p.m. later that day. Plus, members of these and other percussion ensembles from the area will join our MPA students for the Saturday morning and afternoon clinics and concerts!
Special thanks to the Rosemount High School band department for its support of the 2023 Day of Percussion! And a huge thanks to the Percussive Arts Society Minnesota Chapter for their support, along with all the corporate sponsors who are helping to make this event possible!
The 2023 Day of Percussion will feature:
- 22 clinics on marching, concert, world percussion, and other topics
- Concert performances from:
- Martin Dosh (live looping, drum set, synths)
- Heartland Marimba Ensemble
- Shinparam (Korean drumming ensemble)
- Pan-Handlers Steel Drum Band
